I can see how this can work in your favour. The one thing about not being able to tag people that aren’t your friends – this should NEVER change.
It is a matter of security, really. How would you like to be tagged by someone that isn’t your friend in a picture that doesn’t really put you in a nice light? Unfortunately, people have lost their job over them being tagged in pictures of a photo.
Let’s put it this way. Say you break up with someone and drop them as a friend. The person you broke up with, now publishes an embarrassing picture of you, and then tags you in that picture for you and all of your friends to see. Having people that tag others that aren’t their friends can be dangerous.

the point is that you can tag people that aren’t your friends using personal profiles but you can’t using public profiles.
Don’t look at it as this way.. I guess some more options in the privacy section gonna be enough to get people out of this tagging.
Weather i don’t liked it. I will only switch tagging from pages off by using the privacy options as same as what we can do for personal profiles.

I just recently created my facebook, but haven’t had much time to market it on Facebook. This method of tagging seems pretty fun. I’m sure it will piss some of my friends, but I think it could also help spread the word of my site to some of my friends that don’t know about it. Cool stuff faissal.

I’ve got to admit the idea of tagging people in photos does make me a little uncomfortable, although I can see how it may work.
